What is Gordon Doing?

2011: I was trying to put the station back together for BRC in 2011, but that was not to be. Most items remain in kit form, ready to be transported and reassembled on the playa. A bunch of broadcast gear is getting repair attention and is starting to return to original specifications. Both Optimods are working well. Two exciters have now had significant repairs and are now working like-new.

I hope I can erect RFBM's 60-foot tower again. BRC sprawls more than it used to, and coverage has suffered in the past few years with minimal masts and a single-bay antenna. The last time the 60-foot kit was used was 2001. I am exploring low-cost approaches to adding an RBDS, Smart Radio subcarrier.

Many fine details on the building need to be addressed after six years of not being completed.
